That's one of the dollars raised USD 64.3 times last in the administration of former President George Bush, as part of the support for creating various development projects in the country.

Initially he read reports of the Chairman of the board of the fund to the challenges of the millennium Tanzania (MCAT) prior to the exercise of the launch of the road in front of the president, Engineer Patric Mfugale said that the company Sinohydro Corporation Limited from China is that handed the task of construction of paved rate from Songea to Mbinga, and that its construction until completion has taken 39 months.

He justified the construction of the road to take the time-consuming than expected completion of 27 months as it was in the contract, the challenge was due to the presence of mountains and deep gullies.

Explained that due to the difficulty of the exercise of building in those areas of the mountains, had oversight over the quality of some of the areas to be longer than 12 months and instead have used 18 months.

So over the quality of care will end in June next year, and that will enable it to fully manage the construction of a 12 kilometer piece in the Kigonsera Mbinga district, which needed additional repairs before being accepted and taken in accordance with the relevant agreement.

"Mr. President this project is great and the other here in Ruvuma on the construction of the road to tarmac level, which is preceded by another project for the construction of a paved road from Songea to Namtumbo in implementation of development zone of Mtwara," he said Mfugale.
